Three new live dates + 'Fellow Travellers No. 3' on sale
We interrupt your regularly scheduled gnashing of teeth and rending of garments to announce that Discordia Review has three live shows coming up in support of our latest print edition, Fellow Travellers No. 3, which features the writing and art of Clark Allen, Nevada-Jane Arlow, Miles Forrester, Jonathan, Zak Jones, Mickie Kennedy, Emilie Lafleur, and Opal Louis Nations, as well as the first physical printing of The Heel Manifesto II: Defund the MFA. Selected items from the Discordia Review Press back catalogue will also be available at each show.
MONTREAL / SUN. MAR 22 / 7 P.M.
First off we’ll be home here in Montreal with A MACHINE FOR LIVING IN, an “anti-house reading” at an empty apartment near Metro Frontenac. Guests will include Discordia favs Sherwin Tjia, the Mononymous Jonathan, “Joe” Bagel “MacNeil,” Tara McGowan-Ross, and Nevada-Jane Arlow, plus a few surprises. Our first show on the road will be in the true Centre of the Universe, Hamilton gOddamntario. Our merry van of Montrealers includes Gwen Aube, Jack Daniel Christie, JM Francheteau, Mona Gendron, and Tara McGowan-Ross, descends into the The Wormhole, where we’ll be joined by local stars Eleanor Abrahams, Birdie Gerhl, and heavenisms. Come by around 6, hangout, watch a reading start up at some point not too too long after. All hell’s coming with us!
