I'm not sure about the pointlessly nasty. So many good people I know still believe Hilary to be something other than a sociopath who should never have even gotten close to the presidency. Of course the same could be said of all the winners to Reagan and beyond, is5 not nasty to remind people only klepto sycophants have a voice in our ‘democracy’ and fascism didn't start with the mob boss landlord currently pretending to be important

Yes, but Lewis has in the past even gone so far as to try to defend the legitimacy of the War in Afghanistan, so you'd be arguing with a brick wall there

Gay was extremely impactful in my coming-of-age as a writer online a dozen years ago. At the time, the climate of media was very liberal feminist, so none of this surprises me yet it’s humbling to remember famous writers don’t always just pop up. They have a proximity to wealth.

After those French concrete moguls finally got sentenced for funding ISIS this adds another arrow in the quiver for my anti concrete-industrialist theories

Thank you for providing concrete evidence to explain the intense dislike I’ve felt for Roxanne Gay since reading her memoir.

WOW. I don’t even like Roxanne Gay that much- but this is INSANE. And pointlessly nasty.
